MGMS Young Modellers' Forum 2012
Date: Friday, 30th November, 2012
Venue:The Brunei Gallery, School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS), London, UK
The programme and abstracts for YMF2012 are now available
- In order to encourage young molecular modellers at the beginning of their careers, the MGMS would like to extend an invitation to any PhD students who wish to present their work on any aspect of computational chemistry or computational biology at the 2012 Young Modellers' Forum. Other members of the modelling community are are strongly encouraged to attend this event as it is your opportunity to see these talented young modellers and to assist us in the evaluation of the prizes. There is also the chance to discuss the talks afterwards in the pub!
- This year there will be twelve oral presentations and twelve posters during the day, so there will be plenty to see and hear! Prizes will be awarded to the best presentations. Take a look at the past prize winners of the YMF.
- Lightning Talks: This year we are trying something a bit different! Each of the poster presenters will be given 2 minutes (and one slide) to promote their poster and try to tempt people to come and read it!
Registration for the meeting is free and includes lunch but it is mandatory to register. To register, please fill in a copy of the YMF2012 registration form, fill in the details and then e-mail the completed form to Louise Birch (youngmodellersforumATgmail.com). You should receive confirmation of your registration within a week. If, for some reason you cannot open this file, please contact Louise Birch at the above email address for alternatives.
The final deadline for abstract submissions has now passed and we are no longer accepting
Travel expenses will only be provided to oral and poster presenters and will be capped at £50.
