Wilberforce Road Car Park

N.B. IF YOU WANT PARKING IN THE ROBINSON WILBERFORCE ROAD CAR PARK YOU MUST BOOK IT IN ADVANCE.


If you have requested a parking place in the Wilberforce Road car park, please bring your conference parking permit with you, and make sure it is clearly displayed on your windscreen.

A shuttle bus from the car park to the College will operate for approximately one hour before the start of the conference (0900 - 1000, Weds 20th September).

The shuttle bus will also operate at the end of the conference (1230 - 1330, Fri 22nd September).

For access to cars during the meeting, the car park is approx. 5/10 mins' walk from the College.

On-Street Parking
If you opt to park in one of the streets adjacent to the College, please leave your car registration number at the Porters' Lodge.

Report to Porters' Lodge on Arrival
Delegates should initially report to the Porters' Lodge (on the right hand side at the top of the ramp leading to the main College entrance).

The Porters will issue delegates with a plan of the College and will provide directions to the Registration Room.

Residential Delegates
Residential delegates should collect their room keys from the Porters' Lodge.

We hope that rooms will be available for occupation on arrival.

A luggage storage facility is available. [Please note that neither the College nor the conference organisers can accept any responsibility or liability in respect of loss or damage to any property brought on to the premises by individuals.]

Registration
The registration desk will be open at the following times:-
Wednesday 20 September:    0830-1300
                                           other times to be advised

Thursday 21 September        to be advised

Friday 22 September            to be advised

Auditorium Sessions
Please ensure that all mobile phones and pagers are switched off before entering the Auditorium.  The Auditorium is a no-smoking area.

College Opening Hours
The College gates will be open between 0600-midnight.  After midnight, entry can be gained by ringing the bell to the Porters' Lodge.  Departures prior to 0600 can be arranged by prior consultation with the Porters Lodge.

On Departure
Rooms must be vacated by 0930 and room keys should be returned to the Porters' Lodge prior to departure.  Delegates will be charged a £15 fee for non-return of keys.  Delegates may leave their luggage in the designated storage area.

The Porters will book taxis upon request (it would be helpful if delegates could place their requests the evening before).

The shuttle bus to the Wilberforce Road car park will operate for approximately one hour after the end of the conference (1230 - 1330, Fri 22nd September).

Television
There is a television room off the Umney Foyer.

Launderette
There is a token-operated launderette and ironing room.  Tokens and irons can be obtained from the Porters' Lodge.

Fire and Emergencies
The Auditorium and various other parts of the College are designated no-smoking areas.  In the event of an emergency, please immediately notify the Porters' Lodge.
