TRAIN VIA LONDON
There are 2 train routes to Cambridge from London - they depart from Kings Cross
or Liverpool Street main line stations. From Kings Cross there are approx. 3
direct trains per hour, taking between 45 minutes and one hour to get to
Cambridge. From Liverpool Street, there are approx. 2 direct trains per hour,
taking around 1 hour 15 minutes.
For those arriving at HEATHROW Airport:-
EITHER
Use the quick rail link into central London - the Heathrow Express to Paddington
Station

It's quick but quite expensive - a single fare costs between GBP12-14 and a
return between GBP20-24.
Trains leave approx. every 15 mins from Terminal 4 or Heathrow Central
(Terminals 1, 2 and 3). Journey time is about 10 minutes.
At Paddington, change to London Underground and take a Circle Line or
Hammersmith&City Line eastbound tube train to Kings Cross or Liverpool Street,
from where you can catch a train to Cambridge.
OR
Take the London Underground Piccadilly Line direct from Heathrow to Kings Cross.
If you wish to catch a train which departs from Liverpool Street, change at
Holborn and take a Central Line eastbound train to Liverpool Street.
For those arriving at GATWICK Airport:-
Take the Gatwick Express train into central London

Trains leave approx. every 15 mins.
At Victoria Station, change to the London Underground Victoria Line northbound
to Kings Cross, or take the Circle Line eastbound to Liverpool Street.
For those arriving at STANSTED Airport:-
There is a train station at the airport which can be reached by escalator or
elevator from the airport concourse.
You have to go via Bishop's Stortford and then change for the Cambridge train.
Take any London-bound train from Stansted Airport to Bishop's Stortford (it's
the first stop and takes about 8 minutes from Stansted).
Get out at Bishop's Stortford, cross the bridge and go over to the platform
nearest the ticket desk and main station exit (Platform 1) - this is where the
Cambridge-bound trains come in. There are trains every 30 mins (approx. on the
hour and the half hour) and the journey takes between 35 and 45 minutes.
A taxi from Stanstead Airport to the centre of Cambridge will cost approximately 40.00 GBP.
TRAINS for those arriving on EUROSTAR:-
From Waterloo Station, take the Northern Line northbound to Warren Street or
Euston and change to the Victoria Line northbound to Kings Cross. Alternatively
change at Leicester Square and take the Piccadilly Line northbound to Kings
Cross.
If you wish to travel from Liverpool Street, take the Northern Line to
Embankment and change to the Circle Line eastbound, or change at Tottenham Court
Road and take the Central Line eastbound to Liverpool Street.

ARRIVING IN CAMBRIDGE
Unless you feel like walking, the easiest way to get to Robinson College from
the Railway Station or Drummer Street bus station is by taxi. It will take
approx. 10/15 minutes and cost approx. GPB3-4.
