Organisation of the Society

• The Molecular Graphics and Modelling Society is a registered UK charity (1104962) and was formed in 1981. Further details of the work of the charities commission can be found on their web site: http://www.charity-commission.gov.uk/
• The Officers of the Society are:
• Chairman - Christine Richardson, Biofocus DPI
• Secretary - Richard Bryce, University of Manchester
• Treasurer - Steve Maginn, Chemical Computing Group
• Membership Secretary - Jamie Platts, University of Cardiff
• Journal Editor - Jonathan Hirst, University of Nottingham
• The ordinary members of the committee are:

• There is an Annual General Meeting, held in the UK, usually every Easter at which annual reports of the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer are heard. This meeting also sets the membership subscription rates for the year.
• The Society's subscription year runs from May to April. This is to coincide with the timing of the AGM.
